Andreas Veglis, professor of journalism at AUTH, had the opportunity to present the activities and purposes of the Mediterranean Digital Media Observatory to a wide audience – including students.
Mr. Veglis, in particular, was a speaker at the conference “Tackling Fake News! The responsibility of the journalist” organized on Wednesday, November 6 by the Hellenic Research and Development Institute.
The Mediterranean Digital Media Observatory (MedDMO) is an alliance of fact-checkers, media literacy experts and scientists taking a coordinated approach to combating disinformation and misinformation.
