University of Cyprus: Seminar for students on disinformation

An educational seminar on the topic of “Disinformation and Content Verification Practices” took place on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at the premises of the University of Cyprus (UCY) in Nicosia. The audience consisted of 30 high school students (aged 15 to 18) in the context of the 2025 UCY Summer Academies for students.

During the event, information about the actions and goals of MedDMO was presented, and students engaged in discussions about the phenomena of online disinformation and the use of tools and practices that aid in content verification.
