This document is the first part of MedDMO’s annual report, detailing our monitoring of the media ecosystems in Cyprus, Greece, and Malta and evaluating platform practices to counter disinformation in support of National Authorities. Covering 1 January – 30 June 2024, the report analyzes the MedDMO Fact-Checks archive to map where debunked false claims appeared—across social media platforms, online news sites, and mainstream outlets—and assesses how each channel treated that content post-debunking (e.g., labeling, corrections, removals, or contextual updates).
