In their successive appearances in recent days both in the media and in important discussion panels and podcasts, researchers from the Cyprus University of Technology and Fact Check Cyprus have extensively referred to the problem of disinformation in Cyprus.
In particular, Dr. Michalis Sirivianos gave an interview to a podcast related to disinformation and deepfakes, produced by the CYberSafety Youth Panel.
In addition to this, Mr. Sirivianos also spoke at a panel entitled “Narrative as a Battlefield: Resisting Propaganda Through Culture and Media” at the Civil Resistance Forum organized by the Lithuanian and Ukrainian communities of Cyprus with the support of the Lithuanian embassy.
At the same time, both Mr. Sirivianos and journalist Thanos Sitistas from Fact Check Cyprus spoke to Ant1 Live News in Cyprus about artificial intelligence.
