In this narrative report, we examine the mis/disinformation that circulated online in Greece from January 2024 – during the public consultation and subsequent passage of the law – up until June, LGBTQ+ community’s Pride Month. Misleading information during this period largely centered on baseless claims about the supposed harms of marriage equality, including fears about its impact on children and family values.
